An electrical & computer engineer, Kyle Flindt is also a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent & Trademark Office. Since 1998, Mr. Flindt has prepared and prosecuted both domestic and foreign patent applications for a variety of software, network, wireless, semiconductor, medical, and electro-mechanical devices. He also counsels entrepreneurial clients on intellectual property portfolio strategies including trademark and copyright registration.
Mr. Flindt is admitted to practice before federal and state courts in Washington. His legal area of emphasis covers a wide variety of patent, trademark and trade secret issues, with particular focus on semiconductor and network related applications. Typical clients of Mr. Flindt’s are entrepreneurial technology companies and their inventors.
Prior to his bar admittance, Mr. Flindt enjoyed a variety of practical engineering experiences ranging from semiconductor fabrication to farm irrigation system design to electric load line analysis of power distribution networks to enterprise network administration. His international business experiences include exposure to German, Swiss, Austrian, and Russian companies.
Mr. Flindt speaks German. He and his family live in the Seattle area, where they are involved in various charitable and community organizations, including the local scout troop and MIT Enterprise Forum.
