Adam Philipp, the founder of AEON Law, is listed among the IAM Strategy 300 Global Leaders for the third year in a row. Published annually by Law Business Research, this list celebrates IP professionals across in-house, private practice, and service provider roles who merit special attention for their expertise and experience in creating, protecting, managing, transacting, and enforcing critical patent rights.
IAM’s research team gathered thousands of external nominations and conducted interviews across five months to select the Strategy 300. From this group, of which Adam is also a member, in-depth interviews were conducted to identify the Global Leaders. IAM says its Global Leaders are professionals whose approach to intellectual property is regarded by peers as truly strategic in nature.
Adam advises clients on everything from intellectual property creation and enforcement to tools for business growth in technologies including computer science, electrical devices, consumer products, artificial intelligence, blockchain, cryptography, and cybersecurity.
In addition to his Strategy 300 and Global Leaders honors, IAM also recognized Adam and AEON Law in the latest edition of the IAM Patent 1000: The World’s Leading Patent Professionals. In his third straight year appearing in the Patent 1000, Adam received a ”Bronze” rating for patent prosecution in AEON’s home market of Washington. The firm also received a “Bronze” recognition for the second straight year.
In its review, IAM says AEON’s fixed-fee model “ensures predictable billing, making it an attractive destination for companies of all shapes and sizes.” IAM calls Adam “a tactical thinker whose expertise lies in the intersection of technology and the law” who provides “sage advice to patrons on patent protection, enforcement and monetisation.” Adam is also ranked by Chambers USA and was listed as a “notable practitioner” in the IP Stars guide.
